Glad You Came (Cowboy)
plays with that most potent stereotype of masculinity – and object of gay erotic fantasy – the cowboy.

From the Marlborough Man to the Village People, the cowboy has an enduring appeal in gay culture.

The work appears in Latvian, one of the two oldest European languages. This is required by law but is also the artist's preferred strategy because it roots the work in the local language.

Pride in Europe
is a series of eight public artworks created to coincide with Pride marches across Europe: Amsterdam, Antwerp, Brighton, Copenhagen, Dublin, Helsinki, London, Manchester, Oslo, Riga, Stockholm, Utrecht.
